Tolerance apart from Christ will bear little fruit, for its root growth is generated through human endeavor and is of little lasting. The nature imparted and operated by the Spirit of the Living God, who has been made alive, subsequent to the death of self..LIVES ON.

At Calvary the sinister clouds of impending doom were present over Golgotha's hill. The purpose for which the Christ had come to earth was soon to be witnessed by the awe-stricken crown who stood around. Man has been visited by God in visible form! The Christ had walked and talked with people in every walk of life. Now, the supreme penalty for their sin was to be paid. He was returning to the bosom of the Father, and His last petition was soon to be heard. What would it be? What could He say to the Father to meet the demands of earth and all its limitations.

The PRAYER OF TOLERANCE...in the midst of what  appeared to be the most intolerant scene of all the ages-the crucifixion of the Sinless One. All stood at attention - breathlessly awaiting the words that would fall from His lips. He is speaking! Those standing by are attuned to these last words;

"FATHER....FORGIVE...THEM..THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO."

The earth quaked, the lightning flashed, HE GAVE UP THE GHOST. No man took that life it was a life divine, He laid it down!

The tolerant for the intolerant  - the forgiving for those who showed no forgiveness -the merciful for those who lacked mercy. He prayed for you and He prayed for me. He remembered in the hour of His greatest trial - TO BE TOLERANT. Until the coming of the Lord, be patient. Let the weapons of our warfare be as they should in the Spirit, against the enemy, direct attack, against those who are used by the enemy and all human to human attack learn His tolerance and let it be manifested in and through us to all mankind. For to know Him is life eternal, for our lives are hid with Christ in God.
